KyotoUSA is committed to helping people, and the cities they live in, achieve significant reductions in the greenhouse gases for which they are responsible. Our ultimate goal is to reach a point where our activities - as individuals and cities - have no net impact on the climate.
KyotoUSA encourages Americans to lobby their city governments to sign the Climate Protection Agreement adopted by the US Conference of Mayors and to work with ICLEI’s Cities for Climate Protection to develop a strategy for reducing municipal and community emissions. KyotoUSA is an all volunteer, grassroots organization.
