Georgia Interfaith Power & Light engages communities of faith in stewardship of God's Creation as a direct reflection of our faithfulness through worship, education, and the sustainable generation and efficient use of energy. GIPL works with congregations across Georgia to find practical ways for people of faith to live out their responsibility as good stewards of the environment.
Through educational programs and worship services, we affirm the connection between faithful living and care for creation. Through programs such as Power Lite, our low-carbon diet for faith communities; compact fluorescent light bulb sales; energy audits; and conservation initiatives, we help congregations enact good creation care and reduce their
impact on the planet.
We can all make a difference – by changing our behavior, by urging our leaders to act, and by endorsing
and using the products of environmentally-responsible companies like our sponsors. Find out more about them here.
