Before joining Stonehaven, THE GREAT WARMING' s creator Karen Coshof was a leading Canadian photographer whose work was published in Japanese, West German and Canadian graphic design publications.
At Stonehaven, she has worked as a script/proposal writer, creative director, producer and executive producer.

Michael Taylor is the President of Stonehaven Productions, a company he founded in 1978 to serve Canada 's corporate and government communications markets. Michael
handled the adaptation of The Great Warming from the book on which
it's loosely based (see Lydia Dotto). He also directed a number of key sequences for the series.

A documentary comes together in the editing room. Over the past year, Scott Mason developed the look and feel of The Great Warming, working closely with Karen Coshof. He also developed many of the ideas incorporated in the final series, and directed many sequences.

John Panikkar has been in television broadcasting for more than twenty years, most of them in leadership roles, including several years as Vice President, Production with Discovery Channel Canada. Previous appointments include CBC Newsworld, The Sports Network and regional CBC broadcast outlets in Windsor and Ottawa.
Now President of his own consulting, production and distribution enterprise, John continues to facilitate international co-productions and Executive Produce several dozens of hours of television programming each year from home base in Toronto, where he resides with his wife and three children.

Allen Abel is a veteran print and broadcast journalist and documentary writer. He has been the narration writer for more than 50 hours of Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Reader's Digest, and Learning Channel science, history, and exploration documentaries since 1995, including the acclaimed programs and series Cleopatra's Lost Palace, Humans - Who Are We?, Shipwreck!, Aliens - Are We Alone?, The Ultimate Guide to T. Rex., Searching for Lost Worlds, Great Adventures of the 20th Century, History Happened Here, and National Geographic Adventures.

Leon Aronson is a well-known Canadian musician, writer and music producer, whose experience includes original scores for films and tv series. He has won 7 CLIOS and 5 International Broadcasting awards for his music.

Stonehaven's Michael Morein directed many scenes of The Great Warming, including the whole Peru sequence. Michael is a Sr. VP of Stonehaven, and runs its Ottawa office, which handles Stonehaven's extensive Canadian government and Canada Post work.

Lynn Trout brings to Stonehaven Productions more than 20 yrs experience in feature film and television production . She began her career in the art departments of feature films, moved on to television, and finally migrated to producing in the documentary world.
The Great Warming is Lynn 's first collaboration with Stonehaven.

Senior Researcher |
|
Kathryn is a former Vice-President and Senior Producer/Writer at Stonehaven. For The Great Warming, she was Senior Researcher and part of the creative team that adapted the content for television. She currently works as a freelance Producer/Writer for such clients as the Government of Canada, the Globe & Mail and The Gazette.

The look and graphic conceptualization of The Great Warming was a team effort. John Tate of Voodoo Arts worked closely with Stonehaven's creative team on the overall design and production of many exciting sequences in the three shows.

Jean-Francois Despres has been a documentary director for over 25 years (over 20 with Stonehaven). Now free-lancing, his current work includes series for French-Canadian television broadcasters.

Graphic Design and Computer Animation |
|
Kai Whittaker is Stonehaven's immensely talented graphic designer. Kai designed the "human fingerprint" logo of the series, all title sequences, as well as many of the three episodes' computer graphic effects.

Art Director |
|
Paola Ridolfi was responsible for developing the "look" for key sequences, including an overall treatment of the main science explanation computer graphic scenes.

Editor |
|
Bob Mason (yes, he is related to Scott) has been Stonehaven's senior editor since the company began - creating literally hundreds of corporate and government shows. For The Great Warming, Bob handled all the editing of episode #2.

Dino joined Stonehaven in early 2003, as a post-production assistant with a background in film studies. Besides his post-production work on The Great Warming, he also developed the structure and design of this website (which we all think is pretty great!).
